The 2020er Ritsch GG, as it is referred to on the front label, comes from old and partially still un-grafted vines and was fermented spontaneously and aged on its gross lees in traditional Fuder cask for 6 months. It immediately catches one’s attention with its intensive and smoky notes of herbs, ginger, pear, candied grapefruit, almond, and pineapple. The wine is superbly delicate and smooth on the palate and delivers plenty of finesse and freshness in the hugely long, smoky, and intense finish. The aftertaste is intense, focused, and hugely multi-layered. This is a stunning dry Riesling in the making! 2024-2030. 93 Points – Mosel Fine Wines

Producer: Carl Loewen“The raspberry, orange-blossom, jasmine and white-tea character suggests a wine that’s less sweet and structured than this is. Still very youthful, with serious tension between the slightly grainy tannins and crisp acidity and the lush elements of the wine. Long, very bright finish.” 93 points, jamessuckling.com “The Riesling trocken 2021 Kiedrich offers a fine yet […]

Delightfully firm with so much personality and the sensation that you are licking stones in the vineyard! So firm, so pungent, yet so fruity. Gorgeous wine, essence of Riesling and already approachable. Steely finish suggests a long life ahead. Bone dry and very long. 17.5 points, Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com The Schlossberg hill has long been […]

Lush and round but elegant, this is a fruity, juicy and very aromatic Riesling with mouth-filling texture and fine mineral grip on […]
Add to cart Producer: Eva FrickeAt first quite closed, this has a whole spectrum of citric aromas that slowly open up. Notes of lychee and mangosteen, too. Then comes the wide-screen palate that’s packed with ripe fruit, but still quite tight on the long, very precise finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but better from 2022. 93 Points – […]
