Bloody Hill Villages Rose 2023
$30.00European in style. At least in the sense that it’s herbal, savoury, spicy and salty. Lifted red fruits, but it really is about those herbal elements and some lanolin fluffiness on the midpalate. Finishes mildly textural and slightly saline. Mouthwatering and delicious. $40.00Terrific and very complex, particularly considering the price. Whole bunch pressed into old barrels and fermented dry. Rich and full bodied with fresh flowers, lime, honey, nashi pear, dried pineapple, passionfruit, apricot and spice. Lovely curve and flesh, with invigorating freshness. Waters Wine Co
