The 2016 is equally stunning but far more youthful and therefore, more delicate and discrete than the 2015. It’s a vibrantly racy wine with mixed citrus and fresh-cut apple notes and a juicy, vibrant close. Both vintages are Germanic in style, less so dessert wines but more for drinking throughout the meal (the way you might consume a German Spätlese), or with cheese. The balance is superb.

They are all different degrees or declinations of similar aromas and flavors, such as dates, raisins, coffee and espresso coffee. This comes through as balanced and […]
Add to cart Producer: Toro AlbalaAt first quite closed, this has a whole spectrum of citric aromas that slowly open up. Notes of lychee and mangosteen, too. Drinkable now, but better from 2022. 93 Points – […]

The palate is fresh and juicy with only the subtle influence of oak. Mother’s vineyard is situated adjacent to Chris and Tegan Tyrrell’s house and […]
Add to cart Producer: Tyrrell'sGros Manseng made in the traditional style of the Jurançon, of south-west France. Harvested late in April this complex wine has unique aromas of mango, lychee and pineapple; while on the palate, richness is softened by the varieties citrus-like acidity, giving a fresh finish to the wine. 90g/L RS. The wine’s sweetness appears as a […]
